Consignment:
Registration:
- Donkeys consigned should be your best in order to represent the strength and depth of your breeding program.
- A 10% fee of the highest bid per animal, with a $250 minimum to be paid upon acceptance of your animal for the sale, includes all pre and post sale advertising, stabling, all sale related expenses, and a "mighty fine" consigners dinner on Friday night.
Location:
- Current or pending registration with one of the American or Canadian registries.
Accommodations:
- The sale will be held in Ass-Pirin Acres new barn and sales facility in Addison, Vermont.
- Less than one hour from Burlington, Vermont airport.
- One hour from the Adirondack Mountains in New York State.
- Four hours from Boston.
- Six hours from New York City.
- Eight hours from Montreal, Canada.
- Four hours from Ottawa, Canada.
Make it a vacation:
- We will safely house your donkeys overnight.
- There are numerous facilities in the Burlington area - from the Super 8's to Best Western's to the Radisson. It's a lovely and shop filled drive from Burlington to our farm.
- We are just one-half hour from Middlebury which is one of the premier New England College towns.
- There are limited accommodations closer including camping, a few cabins, etc. Call for details.
- Consigners will be able to set up trailers on site and have access to a shower in the barn.
- If you have not spent time in Vermont and New England, you may want to add a few days on to your stay for visiting the region. We will happily host your donkeys from Thursday night.
