Paddykake was the first foal and the first jennet MGF Satchmo produced at Stoney Acres. MGF Satchmo made his statement in the show ring in 2003 by placing 3rd at the Calgary World Show, 1st at the Miniature Donkey Extravaganza, and 2nd at the NMDA Nationals. Satch is 31.5". Her dam, Stoney Acres Paddy, has produced offspring that have done extremely well in the show ring. Paddykate is a unique color, pink, which was quite a surprise coming from her dam who usually produces dark offspring for us. She is a solid jennet that moves beautifully and will make a good, reliable breeding jenny. Paddykake was shown as a yearling and placed 4th in the Calgary Stampede and 4th in the Futurity at the MDE in Red Deer, Alberta. Paddykake will be shown at the 2004 Calgary Stampede and The Miniature Donkey Extravaganza in Red Deer, Alberta.

Pizzaz is a fine specimen in her own right and has been an excellent producer of small, very typy foals. She's had four babies that include three sorrels and one good gray with dark points. Her offspring include Pete Za, a beautiful 29" sorrel jack, that now stands as herd sire at Ma and Pa Acres at Gretna, Nebraska. Another fine sorrel is Happytime Acres Pep-R-Oni (Pepi). He is 30½" and now stands as one of the herd sires at Itsy Bitsy Burro Company, La Grange, Texas. He has done very well in the show ring and in 2003 he was judged best in class at both Shelbyville, Tennessee and Corsicana, Texas. Pizzaz has a nice easygoing disposition and is a great mother. She will be in foal for a spring 2005 baby sired by our good red jack, MGF Red Jet (Mac). Mac is 31", very solid, short, and blocky, and has produced some very good babies for us. He is a half brother to Future Link.
